Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking an A&P Mechanic B-573 for Fri-Sun 3x12 Night Shift in Wichita, KS. You will inspect, maintain, modify, and repair Cessna and Beechcraft models, performing engine and airframe work and using precision tools to ensure airworthiness.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, A&P license, and 3+ years of diversified jet/turboprop experience per FAR 43. This full-time role offers a comprehensive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• High school education, GED, or a bonze level WorkKeys certification required.
• A&P License is required.
• Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
• Experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems.
• Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups; carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits.
• Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
