Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC seeks a skilled aircraft maintenance professional to service Learjet 60 aircraft across a national role. The position requires an FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings and substantial experience with Learjet airframes and PW305A engines.

You will perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting, traveling as needed. Expect a demanding schedule with 10–12 hour shifts and collaboration with senior maintenance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft.
• Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data.
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program.
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings.

Pay: $60/hr starting, $70/hr for experienced leads (+$5/hr if based in El Paso, TX or Titusville, FL)

Schedule: 8 on / 6 off rotation, or Monday–Friday for El Paso/Titusville residents

Home base: Live in any of 34 major U.S. airport cities – we fly you to the work

What You'll Do

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft
• Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings
• Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation
• Join weekly maintenance meetings to review project progress and resolve phase inspection, service, and repair issues with the Director of Maintenance
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area

Expect 10–12 hour days in a fast-paced environment.
