Are you a highly skilled mechanic ready to take your aviation career to the next level? Join our team! As an A&P Mechanic IV, you will be responsible for repairs, replacement, and maintenance of key aircraft components. You'll perform necessary checks related to the mechanical and functional components of aircraft, including testing and replacing defective parts. You will use various tools and equipment to diagnose issues and ensure repairs and maintenance comply with national and international standards, maintaining safety and cleanliness in the hangar or workshop. You will demonstrate advanced knowledge in aviation maintenance, including airframe maintenance, power plant mechanics, or both.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area leads in ISR and aviation, serving as a prime integrator for high-performance systems. Its capabilities include design, integration, testing, certification, training, and logistics support, tailored to exceed customer expectations with on-time and budget-conscious delivery.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • High school diploma or GED with typically 10+ years of relevant experience
  • A higher degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Must pass written, oral, and practical assessments
  • Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification with no prior violations
  • Reliable transportation to work locations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Extensive experience in aircraft airframe and engine repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain international travel visas
  • Successful completion of a pre-deployment medical assessment
  • Willingness to deploy for at least 60 days to various OCONUS locations
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA repair station and/or Quality Assurance experience
  • Willingness to travel and work different shifts, including overtime and weekends
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations
  • Experience in Aerospace, Defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military
