Are you a highly skilled mechanic ready to take your aviation career to the next level? Join our team! As an A&P Mechanic IV, you will be responsible for repairs, replacement, and maintenance of key aircraft components. You will perform checks related to the mechanical and functional components of aircraft, including testing and replacing defective parts. You will use various tools and equipment to diagnose issues and ensure repairs comply with national and international standards, maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workshop. You will demonstrate advanced knowledge in aviation maintenance, including airframe and powerplant components.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, specializing in integrated systems for high-performance ISR and aviation solutions, encompassing design, testing, certification, training, and logistics support. We tailor solutions to meet customer requirements and have a proven record of on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED, with typically 10+ years of relevant experience. A higher degree may substitute for experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Must pass written, oral, and practical assessments.
  • Active, current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification with no prior violations.
  • Reliable transportation to work locations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Advanced experience in repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
  • Current/valid passport and ability to obtain a visa for international travel.
  • Ability to meet DoD and Combatant Command restrictions for deployment.
  • Willingness to deploy for at least 90 days to various OCONUS locations.
  • Willing to work extended hours, holidays, and shifts as required.
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • FAA repair station and/or Quality Assurance experience.
  • Ability to travel regularly and work different shifts, including overtime and weekends.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • Background in aerospace, defense industry, or US military.
