Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking an A&P Mechanic IV to supervise maintenance crews, oversee major overhauls and inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role includes training junior mechanics and coordinating with other departments to streamline operations.

The position requires an FAA A&P certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 5+ years of relevant experience. Expect 6-day work weeks (Sat–Thu) with 12-hour shifts on the first shift, plus potential extended

Qualifications You Must Have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no prior FAA violations.
• Must pass, written, oral and practical assessments.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.
• Advanced experience in repairing, maintaining and/or troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines.
• Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.
• Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
• Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location.Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.
• Work 6 days M-Sat, 12 hours days - 1st shift (72 hours)
• Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 rotation.
