Are you a highly skilled mechanic ready to take your aviation career to the next level? As an A&P MechanicIV, you will supervise maintenance crews, oversee major overhauls and inspections, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct training sessions for junior mechanics.
Responsibilities

- Develop and implement maintenance protocols.
- Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no prior FAA violations.
- Must pass written, oral, and practical assessments.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.
- Advanced experience in repairing, maintaining and/or troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines.
- Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
- Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.
- Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
- Successfully pass a pre‑deployment medical assessment.
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.
- Current/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally.
- Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/60 rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance or related field.
- Leadership and management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of specific aircraft models.
- FAA repair station and/or Quality Assurance experience.
- Able to travel on a regular basis and/or work different shifts including overtime and weekends.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS).
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military.
Essential Functions

- Hand and finger dexterity to work with small mechanical components and tools.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.
- Ability to travel frequently to customer locations, sometimes on short notice.
- Ability to work in a combination of office and field environments.
- Ability to read detailed technical manuals, schematics, and computer screens.
- Ability to inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems accurately.
- Ability to hear and understand spoken communication in noisy environments, such as industrial sites or construction areas.
- Ability to detect auditory signals from machinery or equipment.
- Ability to navigate various work environments, including climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, and working at heights.
- Ability to drive or operate a vehicle for frequent travel to customer locations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Strong awareness of safety protocols and ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
