Job summary

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate required.

Responsibilities

  • Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment.
  • Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification.
  • Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation technicians.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
  • Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership.
  • Help create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment.
  • Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials.

Skills

Compensation & Location
  • Location: 400 E Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062
  • Compensation: Up to $36/hour
  • $2,500 Sign‑On Bonus and $2,500 Relocation Available for Qualified Out‑of‑Area Candidates through July 1st

About the Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor (A&P Mechanic Instructor), you will deliver FAA Part 147‑aligned aviation maintenance curriculum and provide hands‑on instruction to students preparing for careers as aircraft maintenance technicians (AMTs).

This role is ideal for experienced A&P mechanics, aircraft mechanics, and aviation maintenance professionals who want to combine technical expertise with mentorship and training while delivering hands‑on aviation maintenance instruction in classroom and active hangar environments.

Schedule Options
  • Part‑time schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Full‑time schedule available with benefits
