About the Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor (A&P Mechanic Instructor), you will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum and provide hands-on instruction to students preparing for careers as aircraft maintenance technicians (AMTs). This role is ideal for experienced A&P mechanics, aircraft mechanics, and aviation maintenance professionals who want to combine technical expertise with mentorship and training while delivering hands-on aviation maintenance instruction in classroom and active hangar environments.

Schedule Options (Full-Time)
  • Evening Shift: Monday - Thursday: 3:00PM - 11:00PM
  • Friday: 7:00AM - 3:00PM
  • Day Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 3:00PM
  • Weekend Shift (Four 10-hour days): Friday - Sunday: 7:00AM - 5:00 PM
  • One additional 10-hour day of your choice (for preparation time) - flexible
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment
  • Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification
  • Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation technicians
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
  • Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership
  • Help create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment
  • Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials
