The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Instructors to deliver FAA Part 147-aligned curriculum and provide hands-on instruction for aspiring aircraft technicians. This role emphasizes mentoring, safety, and practical skills development across our nationwide onsite locations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience, an active A&P certificate, and the ability to contribute to a structured classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in aviation or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment.
• Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification.
• Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation technicians.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership.

About the Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor (A&P Mechanic Instructor), you will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum and provide hands-on instruction to students preparing for careers as aircraft maintenancetechnicians (AMTs).

Key Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment
• Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
