The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, specializing in the design, integration, testing, certification, training, and logistics support of high-performance ISR and aviation systems. SNC has pioneered change in aerospace and defense for over 60 years, now focusing on modernizing the U.S. Air Force’s Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) to ensure command and control during national emergencies. We are seeking a skilled aviation professional to join as an A&P Mechanic II, responsible for performing repairs, replacements, and maintenance of aircraft components. The role involves conducting checks on mechanical and functional parts, testing, diagnosing, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards while maintaining a clean work environment. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge in airframe maintenance, power plant mechanics, or A&P components.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED, with 2+ years of relevant experience (higher degrees or related experience may substitute)
• Successful completion of written, oral, and practical assessments
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification with no violations
• Reliable transportation and ability to communicate effectively in English
• Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals
• Own tools in good condition
• Ability to pass physical and hearing tests, and obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• FAA repair station or Quality Assurance experience
• Ability to travel and work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or military sectors
