Job summary

Omni Air International, a private airline, is seeking an A&P Mechanic to perform routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance in accordance with company manuals and FARs to ensure airworthiness and timely releases.

Candidates must hold an A&P license, have 3 years line maintenance on B767/777 preferred, and be able to work 10–12 hour shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid A&P license required.
• Minimum 3 years line maintenance on a B767/777 preferred.
• Must pass a 10 year background and drug screen.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid state issued drivers’ license with clear MVR with no major violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance per company manuals and FARs to ensure airworthiness and timely release.
• Sign for work accomplished and document maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with Lead Mechanics, Maintenance Control or higher management.
• Tag all repairable components and record reasons for removal.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control to plan corrective actions and review logbooks.
• Keep work area clean and maintain company property as needed.
• Attend required training courses and adhere to policies.
