Position Details

Bell Maintenance Team - Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Bring your experience and become part of a small, dedicated maintenance team, supporting Bell customers out of our OEM Facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. You will serve as part of a “one stop shop” for a variety of commercial rotorcraft services, performing tasks from small avionics upgrades to complete aircraft rebuilds. Demonstrate your technical abilities through aircraft inspections, repairs, maintenance, fabrications, installations, and post-maintenance test flights.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and engines according to FAA 145 requirements. Conduct major sheet metal repairs, fabricate sheet metal and composite parts, install kits, and assist with fly-offs. Ensure all work complies with instructions, regulations, and policies, and document all work accurately.

Minimum Requirements
  • FAA A&P Certificate required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Additional relevant experience is a plus and may qualify for higher level/salary.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift objects up to 25 lbs., team lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, climbing stairs/ladders.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and focus on small details.
  • Effective communication skills.
