Looking for the next step in your Aircraft Maintenance career? As a SkyWest A&P Mechanic, you will be part of a fast-paced environment full of variety, working on our growing fleet of aircraft. Those with military A&P experience are eligible for a $7,500 bonus with a commitment to work at SkyWest for at least three years. This role offers an opportunity to gain new skills, work nose-to-tail on aircraft, belong to a team of fellow mechanics, and impact the SkyWest operation significantly.

Primary Job Duties
  • Troubleshoot all aircraft systems
  • Make critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner
  • Perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time
  • Manage all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork
Minimum Requirements
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements
  • Hold a valid FAA-issued A&P Certificate
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Willing to work night/third shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Good judgment in team environment and aircraft safety
  • Preferred: CRJ and EMB experience
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Company and Manufacturer Manuals
Physical and Other Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs. routinely with or without reasonable accommodation
  • This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
