Job summary

Mountain Air Cargo is seeking an A&P Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft to meet FAA and customer standards. The role includes analyzing blueprints, scheduling shop items, and estimating hours and materials for jobs.

The candidate must hold an Airframe and Power Plant License, have strong knowledge of FAA regulations, and be proficient in English. Work is performed in a shop environment with travel to line stations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Power Plant License required.
• Must have good command of English, written and verbal.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair and install parts.
• Schedule items through the shop to maintain on-time deliveries.
• Check mechanical components prior to installation to prevent damage.
• Accurately estimate hours and materials for scheduled jobs.
• Operate all required ground support equipment.
