Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance C - A&P Mechanic in Tucson, AZ at Davis-Monthan AFB. The role supports 5/8 schedule with 8-hour shifts and may require day, night, or weekend hours, including up to 40% travel for maintenance recovery.

Ideal candidates will hold an A&P license, possess at least 2 years of aircraft mechanic experience, and be able to obtain an interim security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 6+ years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates with 2+ years related experience.
• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and may perform scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance on all systems including turbofan engine, airframe, and flight control/landing gear rigging.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, corrosion checks, and servicing of aircraft fuel/oil/hydraulic/oxygen/nitrogen systems.
• Read and interpret technical orders, diagrams, charts and publications; maintain data in maintenance databases.
• Obtain and maintain a government flight line driver's license and support deployment requirements.
