Textron Aviation in Wichita, Kansas is hiring a full-time A&P Mechanic on the 6th shift (M-Th) with a shift differential to inspect and repair airframes and powerplants, and perform FAA-compliant functional tests.

You will diagnose systems on jet, turboprop and piston aircraft, carry out 100‑hour and annual FAR 43 inspections, modify components as needed, and document logs and parts per FAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience including jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft.
• FAA A&P license required.
• Knowledge of FAR 43 inspection procedures and 100-hour/annual inspections.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair aircraft systems for airworthiness.
• Perform functional tests and engine runs.
• Carry out 100-hour and annual FAR 43 inspections.
• Modify components and perform preventive maintenance.
• Log inspections and ensure FAA compliance.
