Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking an A&P Mechanic B-573 for the second shift to perform inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft models. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform engine and airframe maintenance, and ensure readiness for flight and delivery.

Qualifications

• High school education, GED, or a bonze level WorkKeys certification required
• A&P License is required
• Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
• Experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
• A minimum of 3 years' experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
• Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
• Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies
