Job summary

SkyWest is seeking an A&P Mechanic to work on our growing CRJ200, CRJ550, CRJ700, CRJ900, and E175 fleets. You will troubleshoot aircraft systems, make timely safety decisions, and perform maintenance unsupervised as needed.

Documentation and parts paperwork management are essential components of the role. Bonus opportunities include $10,000 for working in Milwaukee, Chicago, or Salt Lake City for at least three years, plus an additional $7,500 for military A&P experience.

Qualifications

• Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements.
• Hold a valid FAA-issued A&P Certificate.
• Possess good troubleshooting skills.
• Possess excellent communication and people skills.
• Possess problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Be willing to work a night/third shift position, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment, as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety.
• Preferred: CRJ and EMB experience.
• Preferred: Be familiar with Company and Manufacturer Manuals.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license
• Be able to read, write, and understand the English Language
• Be able to comfortably lift 60 lbs. routinely with or without reasonable accommodation
• This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
