Job summary

Skyservice, a North American leader in business aviation, seeks an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician. The role involves removing and replacing components, troubleshooting and repairing airframes and systems, and ensuring airworthiness per OEM data and SOPs.

On-call maintenance and AOG support are part of the duties, with a focus on safety and quality. Based in a fast-paced team, you will perform inspections, paperwork, and communicate effectively with customers and management.

Qualifications

• Must hold an A&P rating and maintain airworthiness.
• 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Typical maintenance operations including removal and replacement of aircraft components.
• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, and overhaul aircraft systems using approved data.
• Follow SOPs and OEM data to accomplish tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain proficient records.
• Operate all equipment safely and communicate with management, team and customers.
• Perform On-Call airline maintenance (additional income).
• AOG maintenance on customer request.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Typical maintenance operations, such as removal and replacement of aircraft and power plant components in accordance with Company Maintenance SOP, Manufacturer/OEM approved data
• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace, overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved data to ensure airworthiness
• Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish each specific task
• Follow all safety procedures and specifications
• Complete all required paperwork, maintain proficient records of repairs
• Use and operate all equipment in a safe manner
• Communicate effectively with management, team members and customers
• Perform On-Call airline maintenance ( Additional Income for each event)
• AOG maintenance when customer requests. We are a preferred maintenance vendor for multiple charter companies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Airframe and Power plant (A&P) Rating
• 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Aircraft Qualifications and Skills:
  • King Air / Single engine piston
  • Light corporate jet experience
