Job summary

Plane Care LLC, a busy Part 145 General Aviation repair station in Maryland, is seeking skilled aviation maintenance professionals to join our team. We provide routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and FAA-compliant record-keeping as a one-stop shop for engines, avionics, paint, and sheet metal.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years in aircraft maintenance, and an A&P certification (preferred).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical aviation certification preferred.
  • A&P certification highly desired.
  • 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, engines, and components.
  • Conduct inspections, identify malfunctions, and make repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with FAA guidelines.
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other aircraft system issues.
  • Work with a team to address unplanned maintenance events to minimize downtime.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, engines, and components.

    • Must be detail oriented.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aviation maintenance preferred.
  • A P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification is highly desired.
  • 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of aircraft engines, components, and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
