Job summary

Bristow Special Mission is seeking an A&P Mechanic (Line Maintenance) at our Corporate Headquarters in San Marcos, TX. You will perform line maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs to keep aircraft safe and mission-ready under FAA regulations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and a valid FAA A&P certificate; preferred background includes aircraft maintenance experience on specific platforms and related aviation degrees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid FAA A&P Mechanic Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Performs aircraft launch and recovery activities for scheduled and unscheduled flights.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on assigned aircraft.
• Performs general aircraft maintenance, including aircraft washing and corrosion prevention and control activities.
• Documents maintenance, inspections, repairs, and other work in accordance with FARs, company procedures, and maintenance documentation requirements.
• Completes required documentation for parts removal, installation, and turn-in.
• Assists other maintenance personnel with aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs as required.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas and follows housekeeping and FOD prevention practices.
• Complies with safety requirements, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• May temporarily perform Lead Mechanic or supervisory responsibilities when designated by the Director of Maintenance.
• May be required to obtain and maintain Required Inspection Item (RII) authorization as determined by the Director of Maintenance.
