Job summary

PHI Health is seeking a licensed A&P mechanic in Marion, IN with 2+ years of experience to work on our helicopters. You will inspect, repair, and maintain the airframe and powerplant systems, ensuring readiness for emergency response flights.

The role requires travel to bases, pass a pre-placement physical, and capable use of maintenance computer systems. The company offers a sign-on bonus and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
• High School diploma required.
• Must travel frequently and pass pre-placement physical exam and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to maintain airworthiness.
• Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations affecting schedule or staffing.
• Maintain field-base aircraft, stock levels, and requisition spares as needed.
• Ensure safety and security of all company assets at field base.
• Certify work on aircraft logs to meet FAA, manufacturer, and PHI Health requirements.
• Follow RAMCO work packages and update status sheets accordingly.
