Job summary

Billings Flying Service is seeking an A&P Helicopter Mechanic to support the CH-47 fleet operations, requiring extended out-of-town work with lodging provided. The candidate will perform and document maintenance, ensuring compliance with federal aviation regulations and maintenance standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience working on CH-47D or Boeing aircraft, along with an FAA A&P License. Benefits include competitive compensation, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401K with a company match.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
• 5+ years working on the CH-47D or other Boeing aircraft types preferred.
• FAA A&P License, Rotorcraft experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close liaison with crew supervisor on aircraft maintenance status.
• Perform and document maintenance and alterations of aircraft.
• Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with airworthiness standards.
• Provide after-hours maintenance on-call support as directed.
• Document and address aircraft discrepancies accurately.
