Job summary

This full‑time role requires a valid FAA A&P license, 2–3 years of general aviation experience, and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast‑paced maintenance shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• 2–3 years of recent general aviation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Part 91 regulations, aircraft systems, structures, and avionics.
• Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and careful workmanship.
• Solid problem‑solving skills and accurate decision making.
• Strong written and verbal communication to convey inspection findings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work complies with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Ensure aircraft are flight‑ready and safe before release to customers.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft (single- and multi-engine).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft systems (electrical, hydraulic, avionics).
• Repair aircraft components (engines, propellers, landing gears).
• Collaborate with other mechanics and staff to deliver efficient service.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and calibrate tools and equipment.
• Keep up‑to‑date knowledge of aeronautical regulations and procedures.
• Document all maintenance and repair work per FAA and company rules.
