A&P Licensed Aircraft Mechanic

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

We seek an A&P Licensed Aircraft Mechanic to perform the following responsibilities:

1. Perform aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs on aircraft to designated qualifications.
2. Approve aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
3. Respond to discrepancy reports.
4. Assist in determining the necessary parts for service.
5. Responsible for proper work order and logbook documentation.
6. Participate in the company safety program and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
7. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace within hangars, office, and parts storage.

Job Requirements:

1. Available to work on-site at our maintenance hangar facility located in Sioux Falls, SD.
2. FAA issued A&P license is required.
3. Previous experience as an A&P mechanic preferred.
4. Inspectors Authorization Certificate preferred or willing to obtain through company sponsorship.
5. Must be able to obtain airport security badge clearance.
6. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
7. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
8. Computer skills and general software knowledge is preferred.
9. Ability to adhere to our government-regulated drug and alcohol program.
10. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record of 5 years.
11. Criminal background studies must not disqualify a candidate.

Position Specifics:

1. On-site job location at Sioux Falls, SD airport.
2. Full-time status with typical hours of Monday- Friday 8 AM – 5 PM.
3. A competitive compensation package is negotiated based on licensing and experience—overtime compensation over 40 hours/week. Future performance/compensation evaluations are available.
