Job summary

Akima Logistics Services (ALS) is seeking a Learjet/Corp Turbine A&P Mechanic to join our team on-site. The role involves extensive aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance for C-21/Learjet 35 aircraft, including records and documentation.

The candidate should hold an FAA A&P license, be able to deploy overseas if needed, and work with minimal supervision while ensuring safety and quality in every task.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid FAA A&P license (Airframe & Powerplant).
• Ability to read, write and speak English; read and interpret manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to deploy to overseas locations on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems using blueprints or manuals.
• Perform maintenance on Air Force C-21 / Learjet 35 aircraft and related systems.
• Maintain logs and records; ensure compliance with FAA regulations and contract terms.
• Provide guidance to lower-level technicians during modifications and maintenance.
