Job summary

Air Transport International is seeking qualified aircraft mechanics to perform overhaul, maintenance, and repair on airframe components, powerplants and avionics per company and manufacturer manuals. The role requires alertness to safety, adherence to policies, and signing for work completed.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid A&P license, be able to pass DOT/FAA screenings, and have a passport. Training is provided, and duties include reporting to supervision and quality control as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass DOT/FAA background check.
• Airframe & Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a) required.
• Passport required.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment and associated components.
• Mechanics will be required to sign for work accomplished.
• Be alert for defective, worn or failed parts and safe working condition.
• Attend all Company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher management.
• When exercising authority under RII provisions, report to the Director of Quality Control.
