Job summary

Air Transport International, part of Air Transport Services Group, seeks an experienced aircraft mechanic for overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft systems in compliance with manuals and orders.

You must pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment screen and background check, hold an FAA A&P license, and be able to travel to ATI stations to assist with maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and DOT/FAA compliant background check.
• Experience with 757/767 aircraft.
• Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
• Must have a valid passport or the ability to get one.
• Travel to other ATI stations to assist with maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft systems in accordance with manuals and orders.
• Sign for work accomplished as required.
• Stay alert for defective, worn, or failed parts and ensure safe working conditions.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintenance of company property as assigned.
• Attend all Company training classes as directed by maintenance management.
• Travel to ATI stations to assist with maintenance.
