Job summary

A leading aviation company in Kansas is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic for the 5th Shift. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with repairs and maintenance of airframes and engine systems, ensuring aircraft safety and readiness for flight. A high school diploma, relevant experience, and a preferred Airframe or Powerplant license are required. You may also be eligible for a $5,000 state tax credit. Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft inspections and repairs.
• Knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical duties including diagnosis and repair of aircraft.
• Conduct troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on turbine engines.
• Perform modifications and service work on aircraft systems.
