Job summary

Omni Air International is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform routine and preventive maintenance on company aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with FARs. You will sign for work, document tasks, and coordinate with Lead Mechanics and Maintenance Control for troubleshooting and parts."

You will also maintain a clean work area and uphold professional standards while onboard aircraft, contributing to a safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Careful workmanship and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions because of degree of responsibility.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow manual instructions to solve complex mechanical problems.
• Oral and written communication to discuss equipment malfunction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance in accordance with manuals and FARs.
• Sign for work accomplished and record maintenance tasks accurately.
• Coordinate with Lead Mechanics and Maintenance Control on troubleshooting and parts.
• Maintain clean work area and proper handling of tools and equipment.
• Represent Maintenance Department on board company aircraft and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
