Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. (AAC) and PlaneSense, Inc. (PSI) in Portsmouth, NH, are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.

A&P certificate is required and candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with General Aviation experience preferred. The available shift is Sunday-Thursday 3:45pm-12:15am. The technician will repair aircraft, engines, and components per technical data and Repair Station Manual, and must own/maintain sufficient hand tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance experience; General Aviation experience preferred.
• A&P Certificate is required.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT random testing.
• Must pass a background check including fingerprint history.
• Carrier of a valid U.S. Passport for training purposes.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, systems, and airframe as part of routine scheduled maintenance
• Perform diagnostic tests to determine necessary repairs
• Repair defective or malfunctioning aircraft parts and systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose potential repairs outside of regularly scheduled maintenance
• Be able to perform assigned tasks in compliance with FAA regulations and the Inspections Procedures Manual with little or no supervision
• Have the minimum required tools to perform assigned work
