Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• FAA A&P license required.
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, IPM and ATA codes.
• Authorized to work in the United States; pass background check.
• Safety-sensitive role with FAA-mandated drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular maintenance on aircraft.
• Estimates work time and materials for tasks.
• Reads blueprints, drawings, work orders to troubleshoot and repair.
• Inspects engines, wings, props, tails and other parts for defects.
• Ensures proper functioning of engines and systems via tests.
• Maintains maintenance records and reports.
