Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) with a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate to join our Technical Operations team at one of our domestic hubs. You will service and maintain aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components, performing inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and routine care.

You will work outdoors and be part of a collaborative, safety-conscious team, with a schedule that covers 24/7

Qualifications

• Union position based on seniority; initial schedule assigned per airport needs.
• Available for any shift within a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays.
• May be required to work mandatory overtime.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential to meet flight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and routine maintenance.
• Work outdoors, in varying weather conditions.
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure smooth operations and safety.
• Keep the fleet flight-ready through timely and quality work.
