Job summary

Jet Access, a family-owned private aviation company in Indianapolis, seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform expert inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance on jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft, upholding FAA airworthiness and safety standards.

The role requires a current FAA A&P, at least five years in diversified MRO, strong knowledge of blueprints and math, and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Current FAA A&P certificate is required.
• Minimum five years of diversified jet, turboprop, and piston MRO experience.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance, modifications, or airframe sheet metal is preferred.
• Proficiency operating power tools and equipment for aircraft maintenance.
• Strong ability to read arithmetic, blueprints, and technical specs for jets and pistons.
• Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft.
• Sign off on work and document tasks per FAA requirements.
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Coordinate with parts and operations to complete maintenance tasks.
• Handle AOG support and urgent maintenance assignments when required.
• Maintain safety and airworthiness standards in all tasks.
