Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Appleton is seeking a qualified AMT III A&P to join the team on 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM) with overtime opportunities depending on business needs. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and modification of critical aircraft systems, with FAA sign-offs and documentation requirements.

The ideal candidate will have an A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 3 years aviation maintenance experience.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints/3D drawings.
Must read, write, and communicate in English.
Prior aviation maintenance experience is highly helpful.

Responsibilities

Perform required maintenance and servicing of aircraft mechanical systems.
Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot aircraft components such as airframes, engines, landing gear, electrical systems, and controls.
Coordinate with inspection for FAA compliance and documentation; complete work orders and sign-offs on time.
Ensure work meets quality standards and specifications; tag and secure customer property and components.
Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment; use special tools for component removal/installation.
Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repairs as needed.
Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to keep work areas clean and organized.
Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, IPCs, service bulletins, and engineering drawings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
