Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a landscape maintenance technician to care for ornamental plantings, install plant material, and manage mulch areas.

You will spray and record chemicals, operate small and construction equipment, and supervise crews as required, including some weekend work; candidates must be physically capable and endure varying weather.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or landscape installation required.
• Knowledge of plant material.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance on all ornamental plantings, e.g. fertilizing, watering and pruning.
• Installation of plant material.
• Spray/record all chemicals.
• Maintain mulch/pine straw areas.
• Operates small equipment.
• Operates construction equipment (loader/backhoe).
• Supervise crew as required.
• Works some weekends.
