Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens Emergency Physician to cover varying shifts including nights, swings, days, weekends and holidays in New Mexico. You will treat newborn to geriatric patients with high-acuity ESI 1–5 in a facility using Epic EMR. Procedures include intubation, cricothyrotomy, and ultrasound-guided central lines.

3–5 years of EM experience or residency is required. Paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years emergency medicine experience or residency training required.
• High-acuity patient care across age range newborn to geriatric.
• Intubation, cricothyrotomy and ultrasound-guided central lines required.
• EMR: Epic used for documentation and orders.
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent care for high-acuity patients across all ages.
• Carry out emergency procedures as part of shift responsibilities.
• Complete assignment details and time entry in online portal.
