Job summary

CompHealth is seeking full-time locum physicians to cover inpatient dialysis and related services in a hospital setting. The role includes a structured 9-hour day, with weekend on-call requirements and a high patient load per shift.

We handle credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage, so you can focus on patient care. Rates range from $175 to $225 per hour, all-inclusive. Our recruiter assists with every detail to ensure seamless placements.

Qualifications

• Experience with inpatient dialysis coverage.
• Proficiency in managing dialysis modalities and catheters.

Responsibilities

• Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm (9hr shift) plus on-call weekends.
• 14 - 18 inpatient patients per shift with rounding on assigned patients.
• Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage.
• Dialysis management, CRRT, peritoneal dialysis, and catheter placement.
• Post-renal transplant management required.
• Ongoing full-time coverage -- minimum 7 consecutive shifts required.
