Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in an inpatient hospital setting in Arizona. The engagement can be full‑time or 3 weeks per month, for 6–12 months, with 12–14 patients per day and 3–4 procedure days plus 1–2 clinic days weekly. Night call is shared, approximately 2 days per week and one weekend.

Procedures required: EGD and colonoscopy. Paid malpractice insurance, pre‑paid travel and housing, and a Weatherby consultant available

• Inpatient hospital setting

Responsibilities

• See 12–14 patients per day in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Perform EGD and colonoscopy procedures.
• 3–4 procedure days and 1–2 clinic days per week.
• Night call shared; approx. 2 days/week plus 1 weekend.
