Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Placentia, CA seeks an experienced A-Level Diagnostic Technician to perform advanced electrical diagnostics and drivability analysis on a variety of vehicles. You will work with ADAS tools in a modern shop and uphold high standards of workmanship.

The role offers $33.80+/hour base pay with a performance bonus and weekly pay, with potential to earn $100,000–$150,000+ annually. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, training, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as an A-Level Automotive Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Own professional automotive tools.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume shop preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical, drivability, and automotive diagnostics on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems efficiently and accurately.
• Complete high-quality repairs while maintaining strong productivity.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and ADAS technology during vehicle inspections and repairs.
• Interpret diagnostic information to identify and resolve complex vehicle concerns.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the team to support an efficient, production-focused workflow while helping maintain the shop's high standards for customer satisfaction.
