Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong experience servicing Honda, Toyota, Acura, and Lexus vehicles.
• Advanced automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in independent repair facility or dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles across major brands as listed.
• Perform diagnostics on engine, electrical, drivability, suspension, braking, HVAC.
• Complete timing belt services, wheel bearing replacements, brakes, maintenance, and complex repairs.
• Use ALLDATA and tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide clear Digital Vehicle Inspections and vehicle status updates.
• Conduct Virginia State Inspections as required.
• Maintain detailed repair documentation and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and repairs, primarily on Honda, Toyota, Acura, and Lexus vehicles
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, drivability, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems
• Complete timing belt services, wheel bearing replacements, brake repairs, maintenance services, and complex mechanical repairs
• Utilize ALLDATA, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns
• Perform clear and complete Digital Vehicle Inspections
• Perform Virginia State Inspections
• Communicate with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and vehicle status
• Maintain accurate repair documentation, high-quality workmanship, and an organized professional work area

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience required

• Advanced automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in an independent repair facility and/or dealership environment
• ASE Certifications are a plus but not required
• Flat-rate pay: $35-$45 per flagged hour, based on qualifications
