Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a gastroenterology specialist for Wisconsin assignments. The role involves performing upper and lower endoscopy with biopsy, plus EUS and liver biopsy skills. Qualifications

• Endoscopy, EUS and liver biopsy skills required.
• Experience with both inpatient and outpatient GI care.
• Flexibility for multi-day procedural assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper and lower endoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision.
• Carry out endoscopic ultrasound procedures as part of care.
• Provide assigned patient rounding and clinic/procedure coverage.

Job description

• Monday-Friday with 8 hour shifts, lunch deducted
• 15 patients per shift with both inpatient and outpatient care
• Upper and lower endoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required
• Endoscopic ultrasound and liver biopsy skills needed
• Mon-Tue combination clinic/procedures, Wed-Fri typically all procedures
• Optional call coverage one day per week
• Multiple week assignments available throughout 2026
