Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in the United States provides locum tenens GI staffing with dedicated support. Shifts run Mon–Sun, 8 am–5 pm, with 7‑day call coverage available. Inpatient practice with high-acuity GI patients includes supervision of Advanced Practice Providers. ERCP and EUS are required, along with colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management. Travel and housing are prepaid.

Qualifications

• ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic capability required.
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) required.
• Colonoscopy, liver biopsy and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management required.
• Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers required.
• Inpatient GI practice setting with high-acuity patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient GI care for high-acuity patients.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers.
• Perform ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) and EUS.
• Manage colonoscopy, liver biopsy and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube procedures.
• Coordinate assignment details and time entry in the online portal.
