Job summary

Cypress Lake Solutions, LLC seeks a part-time Ammunition and Explosives (A&E) Logistics SME to support the AvMC Fires Directorate at Redstone Arsenal, AL. You will coordinate A&E shipments, maintain inventory accountability, and support safe storage and handling practices.

Collaborating with ASP, QASAS, and other safety and transportation offices, you will ensure compliance with DoD/DOT requirements while preparing shipping documents and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Experience handling and shipping ammunition and explosives under DoD and DOT requirements.
• Experience managing large, high-value A&E stockpiles in AMCATS.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments from request through movement.
• Maintain stockpile accountability using AMCATS.
• Reconcile inventories and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare shipment and turn-in documentation.
• Review Interim Hazard Classifications (IHC).
• Support safe storage and facility operations.
• Brief leadership on findings and recommended solutions.
