Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals in daily living activities and provide documentation to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. Flexible shifts support students, families, and other employment commitments.

Positions include full-time, part-time and on-call options with morning, evening, and weekend hours. Responsibilities include health and hygiene support, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and detailed shift and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; foreign diplomas evaluated.
• One year of human services experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily living activities including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation and documentation (shift reports, incident reports, progress reports).
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment that meets residents' physical, emotional and personal needs.

As a Direct Support Professional at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need.

• Flexible schedules that can work with school, family commitments, or other employment

Available Shifts: Full-time, part-time and on-call available. Days 7am-3pm, Evenings 3pm-11pm, Weekends (varied shifts).

Pay rates: Full-time and part-time, $17.25-$19.67

As a direct support professional you will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation and documentation to include shift reports, incident reports and individual progress reports. You will maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional and personal needs of the individuals we serve.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required, diploma's acquired outside of the US must be evaluated

One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
