Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a PQRA Qualification Engineer specialized in Aerospace & Defense. This role involves overseeing the qualification and reliability assurance of memory products used in critical applications. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of semiconductor experience and a strong foundation in metrics development and risk management.

In this position, you will work directly with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with standards like NASA/GSFC PEM-INST-001, and will coordinate both domestic and international product releases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in semiconductor quality or reliability, preferably in A&D.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional qualification activities.
• Familiarity with military test/qualification frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualification and ongoing monitoring of DRAM/NAND products.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage deviations for product quality.
• Develop and enforce quality metrics for A&D applications.

Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Data analysis and scripting/automation tools (e.g., Python, Perl, C++, Java)

Knowledge of DRAM, NAND, VLSI

Knowledge of aerospace/military microelectronics standards

Leadership in cross-functional qualification activities

Interfacing with customers and auditors

Education

B.S or Equivalent in EE or related field of study
