Job summary

Pheasant Energy, LLC in Fort Worth, Texas, seeks an experienced A&D landman to source, negotiate, and help close oil and gas transactions. You will own your pipeline, work directly with mineral owners and counterparties, and support sell-side divestitures on-site with our acquisitions team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years in oil and gas land/A&D with sourcing, negotiating, closing transactions.
• Demonstrated track record of closing deals from first contact through close.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, and working-interest acquisition opportunities.
• Build and manage your own pipeline from lead generation through negotiation and closing.
• Negotiate offers directly with mineral owners, sellers, and counterparties.
• Support divestiture efforts, marketing, and selling interests to third parties.
• Source new leads and counterparties for both acquisition and divestiture activity.
• Coordinate transactions with third parties and provide regular deal-status updates.
• Provide support to land and business development functions as needed.
