Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician to support outpatient care for HIV/AIDS patients in a busy internal medicine setting in the Los Angeles area. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with no on-call duties, and see adult to geriatric patients requiring HIV care, hypertension, and diabetes management.

The assignment offers paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and access to Weatherby consultants 24/7.

Qualifications

• Recent HIV patient experience within the last 2 years.
• FM check-ups, follow-ups, hypertension, and diabetes management.
• Outpatient clinic setting.
• Adult to geriatric patient population.

Responsibilities

• See up to 18 patients per day in an outpatient clinic.
• Provide HIV/AIDS care within internal medicine focus.
• Manage hypertension and diabetes during visits.
