Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Material Handler C to efficiently and accurately bring supplies to the production lines and keep lines clear of completed skids.

The role requires a high school diploma, good communication, dependable attendance, and willingness to accommodate non-standard hours. You will perform pre-shift inspections and follow SOPs to ensure safety and smooth operations on the line.

• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math to order material for change-overs.
• Weigh scrap gaylords at end of shift or change-overs.
• Understand pallets: A, B, Peco and Chep.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

Job Responsibilities

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Must show basic familiarity with truck operations.
• Be able to properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily.
• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-over's.
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-over's.
• Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures

Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour

Physical Activity Required For This Position

• Stooping/Bending

• Standing for long periods of time
