Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Material Handler C to efficiently bring supplies to production lines and keep skids clear, while adhering to safety guidelines.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, handle basic math for changeovers, and contribute to accurate material placement in a hot production environment, following SOPs and pallet standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Familiarize with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Must be comfortable with basic truck operations.
• Complete pre-shift truck inspections and daily PM checklists.
• Ensure proper placement of finished products.
• Perform basic math to determine material needs for changeovers.
• Weight scrap pallets at end of shift or during changeovers.
• Understand pallet types (A, B, Peco, Chep).
• Follow SOPs, cGMP, food safety and safety procedures.

TITLE: Material Handler C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Efficiently and accurately bring supplies to the lines and keep lines clear of completed skids.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Must show basic familiarity with truck operations.
• Be able to properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily.
• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-over's.
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-over's.
• Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Stooping/Bending
• Kneeling
• Standing for long periods of time
